About the event

This is our next topic in a series of workshops in Collaboration with Aubourn Hall and Gardens.

The workshop consist of two sections. Beginning with a talk from The Lincolnhire Flower Company, in the greenhouses about seed sowing. We will hand out a helpful booklet with some tips and tricks we've put together for your to take home and follow in the future. Next you will be given your own seed tray to sow some seeds yourself. These will be a variety of  summer annuals to get your cut flower collection started! We will also talk about where to source the best seeds, compost choices and flower staking.

Having spoken to many of our lovely customers about setting up this workshop, many said the thing they were struggling the most is when to do what throughout the year! We will delve into this and also include a guide in the hand out.

The second part of the workshop will be a practical talk by one of the team from Aubourn Hall and Gardens on the topic of Soil Health, Rose Pruning  and to how to identify pest and diseases.
