About the event
Here at The Lincolnshire Flower Company, spring is when the growing season really comes to life. This March workshop is designed to set you up for a floriferous and fruitful year ahead, giving your cut flower garden the very best start.
We’ll begin with a relaxed and informative talk on spring seed sowing from our very own Greenhouse Guru, Penny. She’ll guide you through the essentials of sowing at this time of year and provide a handy booklet packed with our tried-and-tested tips and tricks for you to take home and use again and again.
Next, you’ll get hands-on with your very own seed tray, sowing a carefully chosen selection of spring-sown annuals right here on the farm. You’ll be sowing Cosmos, Zinnias, Helichrysum (straw flowers) and Scabious – all perfect for producing buckets of beautiful blooms throughout summer.
