About the event
Here at The Lincolnshire Flower Company we begin our seed sowing in Autumn for the following year's flowers. This workshop will prepare you for a floriferous and fruitful 2025. We find that our plants are much stronger this way and we get off to a running start for the season ahead.Â
We will begin with a talk about seed sowing from our very own Greenhouse Guru, Penny. She will hand out a helpful booklet filled with all our tips and tricks for you to take home and follow in the future. Next, you will be given your own seed tray to sow a selection of seeds right there and then. This is the beginning of your 2025 cut flower garden! These will be a variety of  Spring and early Summer annuals to get your cut flower collection started. We will also talk about where to source the best seeds, compost choices and flower staking. Â
Cup of tea's will be limitless at this workshop, so we'll grab one and take a gentle wander around all our growing areas, where you can ask as many queations as your heart desires.Â
To top off the afternoon we will head over to Aubourn Hall for their infamous and legendary Afternoon Tea. Trust me, it's spectacular.
Please make us aware of any allergies.Â
We look forward to welcoming you!
